Atmospheric Sciences Graduate Program - University of Nevada, Reno

Atmospheric Sciences encompasses many areas of study that explore the atmosphere’s physical characteristics, motions and processes, and how these influence all aspects of the environment and human life. Atmospheric scientists interpret and predict weather patterns, analyze climate trends, monitor air quality, working in a wide variety of agencies, laboratories, businesses and educational institutions.

Graduate Program of Hydrologic Sciences - University of Nevada, Reno

Students within the Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Program can specialize in surface water hydraulics, watershed hydrology, water resources evaluations, water quality, geomorphology, and limnology. Specific areas of emphasis in Hydrogeology include groundwater contaminant transport, geochemical evolution of ground waters, nutrient transport processes, vadose zone hydrology, ground water resource evaluation and ground water modeling.

Graduate Program in Water Resources Management - University of Nevada, Las Vegas

The Water Resources Management program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is a flexible, interdisciplinary course of study leading to a Master of Science degree. It is a technically and scientifically based program that blends the physical aspects of the hydrologic sciences with policy and management issues. Students enter the program from a wide variety of undergraduate programs, then take classes and conduct research with faculty from federal, state, and local government agencies.
