Professional Interests
Dr. Haynes is a researcher and historic preservation specialist in the Division of Earth and Ecosystems. His research interests are focused on precontact Native American mobile foragers in the Great Basin (Ancestral Numic) and village agriculturalists in the American Southwest (Ancestral Puebloan). His current research involves pictographs in the central coast of California and plain ware ceramics in the Salton Trough.
