Collaboration Invitation:
If you’re interested in collaborating on projects related to optical properties characterization of aerosol particles, particulate matter monitoring instrument development, integration and optimization of existing systems, development of optical techniques, including static light scattering, holography, and dynamic light scatterings, or the optical properties of particulate or colloidal particles, I would be glad to connect.
Undergraduate Positions:
We are actively seeking senior undergraduate students with a good/strong technical background. Ideal candidates should be familiar with hardware tools such as breadboards, microcontrollers, oscilloscopes, and a variety of electronic components.
If you are planning to submit an application for any “Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) Scholarship” and are in search of a faculty mentor, please reach out to me.
PhD Positions:
We currently have one PhD position available in our group. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in computer programming, electronics, data acquisition, and prior research. A bachelor’s degree in physics, computer engineering, or mathematics is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a master’s degree.
Postdoctoral Positions:
Expected to become available soon in the NSF-funded project!
…
Important: If your interests align with my research, whether theoretical or experimental, and you are eligible for fellowships such as the NASA Postdoctoral Program or the NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, I encourage you to reach out. I’m happy to provide input, feedback, and support in developing a competitive proposal.
