Attention Elko Area Educators! Apply for drone education training!

Nevada Robotics is taking applications for a paid drone training for teachers and potential coaches using the CoDrone EDU. These drones are used by REC for their Aerial Drone Competitions – coming soon to Elko! Educators will receive a $200 stipend, free meal, and access to drone loans.

  • When: Thursday, May 29 from 5:00pm-7:30pm

  • Where: Basin College in Elko, NV (TBD on Room #)

  • Agenda: Dinner @ 5pm & training from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Training will cover the following:

  • Learn how to fly the drone safely and spend time practicing.

  • Learn how to code the drone and update firmware.

  • Learn how to foster STEM in the classroom or at competitions.
