FIRST Nevada shared an awesome opportunity for Nevada’s students, age 13 – 17. Read on to learn about the opportunity with The Knowledge Society and how FIRST Nevada can support FIRST team members through scholarships and tuition coverage.
The Knowledge Society (TKS) is a 10-month global innovation program. Students can participate virtually in this program with weekly sessions. The program helps students build Masters-level projects in emerging technologies, and gives them opportunities to work with global organizations like Neurable, Microsoft, and SpaceX through mentorship, internships, and challenges.
If you or someone you know may be interested, applications are due by July 30th! Apply, apply, apply!
To help cover the cost, FIRST provides scholarships for TKS participants who are on a FIRST team! Click here for more information on funding through FIRST. In addition, up to 100% of the tuition for this program may be covered based on need of the applicant.Â
