SUMMARY:Nevada Robotics METRICS: Northern Nevada Cohort
DESCRIPTION:METRICS (Mentoring Educators Teaching Robotics and Innovation in Computer Science) is an engaging and ongoing training using Nevada Robotics’ Books and Bots Lessons. Teachers learn how to use robots to meet PreK-5 literacy and math standards\, and how to develop early readers\, critical thinkers\, and problem solvers. \nTeachers may receive a $375 stipend or a certificate for PD hours for this 7.5-hour training series. Participants also receive dinner\, teaching resources\, robots\, and books.
