SUMMARY:Nevada Robotics METRICS: Carson City PreK/K Cohort
DESCRIPTION:Nevada Robotics is kicking-off an invitation-only METRICS series this fall for Carson City PreK educators. \nMETRICS (Mentoring Educators Teaching Robotics and Innovation in Computer Science) is engaging and ongoing training using Nevada Robotics’ Books and Bots Lessons. Teachers learn how to use robots to meet PreK-5 literacy and math standards\, and how to develop early readers\, critical thinkers\, and problem solvers. \nTeachers will attend 7.5-hours of training and will receive free resources\, robots\, and books.
