DESCRIPTION:Nevada Robotics is proud to partner with Garside Jr. High School in Las Vegas to offer METRICS for VEX GO robots and CoDrone EDU educational drones. \nMETRICS (Mentoring Educators Teaching Robotics and Innovation in Computer Science) is engaging and ongoing educator professional development. At Garside METRICS\, participants will learn how to build and code the VEX GO robot\, and how to program and pilot the CoDrone EDU. Teachers will learn how to use the robots and drones to develop coders\, effective communicators\, and critical thinkers. \nFREE Resources\nrobot and drone loans\nfood included by Garside\nactivities & lessons\naligned with standards\nteaching supplies\nclassroom support as needed\ntechnical support \nTraining Details\nSign in at 2:15 p.m. in the school library\nTraining from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.\n-Tuesday September 9\n-Tuesday October 14\n-Tuesday November 18\nLocation: Garside Library\, Las Vegas \nParticipants must attend all three sessions. \nQuestions?
