DESCRIPTION:Come and explore the delicate balance of our ecosystem during DRI’s STEM Education Program’s FREE educator professional development training on our new middle school Green Box\, Fire Ecology of Nevada. Green Boxes are self-contained\, NGSS-aligned\, curriculum kits that provide educators with three weeks’ worth of curriculum and all supplies necessary for your classroom to conduct each activity. This training will provide hands-on investigations and game-ified simulations on fire\, fuel\, soil\, and ecology. \nAlthough this training will cover middle school standards\, all interested educators are welcome to attend!
