DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, March 2\, 2024\, DRI Science Alive is teaming up with Green Our Planet to offer Introduction to Hydroponics training to K-Gr. 12 STEM Teachers in the STEM Co-Lab on our Las Vegas Campus. \nJoin us to learn about: \n\nThe basics of hydroponics such as germinating seeds\, transplanting seedlings\, mixing nutrient solution\, and programming lights.\nBuilding\, assembling\, and operating hydroponic systems.\nHow to integrate hydroponics into your classroom through STEM\, conservation\, health\, and financial literacy lessons.\n\nParticipants will receive a certificate for three continuing education hours for attending the training.
